Why does it always seem the bands that break up, it's the lead singer vs. the rest of the band. GNR, Rage Against the Machine, Creed, and several other. The rest of the band goes on and gets a new singer and forms a new band. Velvet Revolver...GNR minus Axl...add Weiland...Audioslave...Rage minus the singer...add Cornell.

I don't like em I was just using them as an example. Like Van Halen, they got rid of Roth and continued on with Hagar still using the name Van Halen. Izzy Stradlin has been playin with the new GNR in alot of their live shows...Izzy and Slash my have had the best chemistry of any duo in rock history...IMO they did. BTW slash wanted to name VR "revolver"..maybe out of spite towards axl..weiland proposed "black velvet revolver" but the band mates thought it sounded too similar to STP..so they took the black off..or so the story goes...

Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Exodus, Cannibal Corpse, AC/DC (they had a singer before Bon), Rainbow, Corrosion Of Conformity (Mike Dean the present bassist was the first singer, then Karl Agell, then Pepper Keenan who was and is the guitarist took over), those are some off the top of my head, so not a good argument.
